On the ASE Outlaw Catch Can, the top port is the inlet. Route the lines from the valve covers into the top and the outlet from the lower port.
Once a catch can is fitted, the valve cover crossover / balance tubes become redundant — both covers merge into the can, which performs the same balancing function. Crossover tubes are only needed with the OEM PCV configuration.
